Information and registration
Higher education in the United States provides one of the largest, most powerful and diverse education systems in the world, in which student services play a central role. Not only at the famous elite universities, but also in the broad range of state mass universities and in the vocational community colleges, everything is in the service of students’ personal development and academic success.
Although the situation for students is currently precarious, as in many countries, the “student services” of the universities with their offers in residence halls, study counselling, psychological and health support, with scholarships and extensive cultural and sporting activities represent a core area of campus life.
For many years, the DSW has maintained a cooperation with NASPA, the US umbrella organisation for student services, because of the diversity and high quality of the services offered to students.
This year, we would like to experiment and invite you to look over the horizon and learn about the unique social infrastructure of higher education in the US in a combination of an online event, campus tour, international symposium and insights into the NASPA annual conference with numerous workshops and a trade show exhibition.
