The DSW, in cooperation with the Crous in Créteil and Paris, invited experts to an exchange on the topic of construction and housing: 100,000 places in halls of residence – experiences from the French government program for the construction and renovation of student housing.
The French-German expert exchange aimed to benefit from the experiences of the French student service agencies – the Crous – in the construction of 80,000 additional places over the last ten years, to promote joint know-how, and to learn from colleagues about the opportunities and obstacles of state funding programs in France.
The exchange took place from 24 to 26 January 2024 in the Crous of Créteil & Crous of Paris and was open to the student services management level in the housing sector and to all ECStA members who were interested in the topic.
