To the members of the European Council for Student Affairs
To European colleagues
Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Colleagues,
how can UNESCO’s sustainability goals be implemented in innovative practical examples in student services and universities? How can students get involved and why is it important to involve them? Which forms of cooperation, which technologies and which political changes are necessary for this?
These are the topics of the biennial Global Summit for Student Affairs, which will take place in South Korea from 21-25 May 2024. It will be hosted by the Korean Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF), a long-standing partner of DSW, which distributes billions in student funding to students in South Korea on behalf of the government according to social and performance criteria.
The DSW invites you to participate in a small delegation to the summit, ideally we can form an own ECStA group and cooperate also on presentations. We are planning a joint arrival on 19 May 2024 and a return journey with a possible stopover in Seoul from 25 May 2024.
The summit offers an excellent opportunity to network with the management level of STW-like structures worldwide, but also to get to know the educational landscape in Korea better in the form of two campus tours. At the same time, such an event is always a good opportunity to network with other participants from Europe.
Further information and the registration link can be found on the conference page: https://www.iasas.global/globalsummit2024 . Please register for the summit directly on the conference website!
We have attached practical information on the planned delegation for you. If you want to join us, please get back to us by mail or let us know about your interest in the online delegation form as soon as possible.
We would be delighted to get you on board in the global debate on sustainability in student affairs!
