Double reason to celebrate…
The Deutsches Studentenwerk (German National Association for Student Affairs – DSW) announces an Awards Ceremony regarding its annual Poster competition and celebrates the 30 anniversary of its famous poster competition. Since its beginning the poster competition is co-financed by the German Ministry of Higher Education and Culture.
The celebration will take place Monday, 27.6.2016 in the beautiful “Museum of Communication” in Berlin. The event will start about 18:30 pm and will last until 22:00 pm.
Highlights of the celebration are:
- Welcome speech by the German Minister for Higher Education and Culture, Dr. Wanka
- Talk session with the Minister, the Director of the Museum, the DSW President, and Prof. Lindauer – the graphic designer of the art catalogue & former jury member; former participant of a poster competition and nowadays famous author and book illustrator Judith Schalansky (inquired)
- Award ceremony: rewarding of the winners of the current 30. Poster competition
The whole ceremony will be hold in German. However, participants will have the opportunity to meet up with colleagues and to visit the exposition of the winners of the current competition and to visit the special exhibition curated on the occasion of 30 years of competition. Furthermore, an art catalogue comprising the highlights of all competition years is produced and handed over to the participants.
