Shaping the Social Dimension – a priority for the enlarged European Higher Education Area

The conference entitled “Shaping the Social Dimension – a priority for the enlarged European Higher Education Area” took place in Berlin on June 15-16, 2005. It was jointly organised by the EUROSTUDENT project group and the ECStA. The Eurostudent Report was published at the conference. The conference declaration summarises the results and welcomes the decision of the Ministers responsible for higher education to take up the social dimension as a new challenge and priority of the Bologna Process, and alls upon the Ministers of Higher Education to move the social dimension to the centre of the debate. It also calls for ECStA representation in the Bologna Follow-up Group.
