This project investigated the current development of systems for education grantin 13 European countries, all being members of the European Union except for Switzerland. The main interest focuses on the connection between equalisation of family burdens and the respective legal basis of maintenance law as well as on analysing systems promoting student mobility. The report for each country was prepared by experts of the concerning country.
